The JCRC’s Government Affairs Committee develops relationships with elected officials, advises on matters of concern to the Jewish community, and advocates on legislation that is relevant to our community. We frequently partner with other Jewish Federation departments, agencies and groups to magnify our impact.

 

National issues we have recently advocated for include proposed changes to federal charitable giving regulation, Medicaid block grants, Holocaust Survivor support funding, as well as military aid to Israel.
